Actress Aurelie Wynn has come forward accusing Ed Westwick of rape just a few days after Kristina Cohen posted a detailed account on Facebook alleging a sexual assault by the Gossip Girl actor. Westwick categorically denied Cohen's claims, and just took to Instagram again to allege both stories are false.
"It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct," Westwick wrote on Instagram early Thursday afternoon, referencingt the LAPD's current investigation. "I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so they can clear my name as soon as possible."
Aurélie Wynn, who used the name Auralie Marie Cao for acting credits, took to Facebook on Wednesday to tell her own story about the 30-year-old actor.
“I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight,” Wynn wrote on Nov. 8. “I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny. When it was over I got my cellphone and found that the girl that had invited me had left or got kicked out.”
Wynn said when she told her boyfriend he broke up with her. “I told the guy I was seeing that I got raped, Mark Salling, and when he found out by who he pretended not to know him. Then blamed me for it and broke it off with me.”
The actress went on to say that any friend she told urged her to remain quiet about the incident. “My other friends and people around me told me it was best not to say anything, to not be ‘that girl.’ And that no one would believe me and think I was just out trying to get my 10 seconds of fame.”
Wynn's story is eerily similar to Cohen's. "I went and laid down in the guest room where I eventually fell asleep, I was woken up abruptly by Ed on top of me, his fingers entering my body," Cohen wrote on Facebook. "I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to fuck me. I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me."
Earlier in her Facebook post, Cohen, 27, alleged that a producer she was dating at the time knew Westwick and brought her to the apartment. "I was sexually assaulted three years ago. It was a dark time in my life. ... Even now, I grapple with feelings of guilt. Unfounded worry that in some way I was to blame."
"I was briefly dating a producer who was friends with the actor Ed Westwick," she later continued in the post. "It was this producer who brought me up to Ed’s house where I met Ed for the first time. I wanted to leave when Ed suggested 'we should all fuck.' ... I said I was tired and wanted to leave, trying to get out of what was already an uncomfortable situation. Ed suggested I nap in the guest bedroom. The producer said we would stay for just another 20 more minutes to smooth everything over, and then we could leave."
