Harvey Weinstein's wife Georgina Chapman is worth more than you might think. But if her fashion brand, Marchesa, goes under as a result of the recent scandal, she'll need every penny she can get from her prenup.

According to TMZ, Chapman receives more money from Weinstein the longer the marriage lasts. If they had split up before their 10-year anniversary, she would have received $300,000 per year in spousal support for every year they were married.

But Chapman and Weinstein's 10th anniversary was on Friday. And now that they have passed that milestone, Chapman would receive $400,000 in spousal support from Weinstein for every year of marriage. Insiders believe Chapman waited to file for this reason.

The prenup stipulates how the couple would divide assets in the event of a divorce. Per TMZ, Chapman would receive $250,000 per year for the first five years of their marriage, and $700,000 per year for each additional year.

Chapman is also reportedly set to receive a $3 million housing allowance. Add it all up, and she is set to take $11.75 million from Weinstein if they divorce within the next year. The problem? She may also lose her fashion brand, Marchesa.

DID NBC SQUASH RONAN FARROW'S STORY TO COVER FOR HARVEY WEINSTEIN? UPDATE

Chapman separated from her longtime husband back in October. The couple split up after news stories detailed multiple sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein over the past three decades. She has met with divorce attorneys and seems to be putting together a case.

"She doesn’t want to be married to Harvey," a source told People. "She wants a divorce. It’s just not anything that she is rushing."

Weinstein will have plenty left over even if he does get divorced. He has an estimated net worth between $240 million and $300 million. Chapman is worth around $20 million before spousal support and asset distribution.

Of course, Weinstein stands to lose money following the sexual harassment scandals. He has already been fired by his production company, and the future of the company remains unclear. Weinstein could also still face costly civil lawsuits from his alleged victims. He is already facing a class action lawsuit from six women.

In fact, Chapman is reportedly concerned that he could go bankrupt fairly soon. Eve Chilton recently asked a judge to order Weinstein to pay the $5 million he allegedly owes in child support before lawsuits drain his fortune. But Weinstein’s lawyer told the judge that the producer has never missed a child support payment.

Chapman is also worried her fashion business could be ruined. Weinstein helped get Marchesa off the ground, and was highly instrumental in getting gowns on top celebs for award shows like the Oscars and Golden Globes. In fact, some actresses say he insisted the stars of his movies wear his wife's dresses.

But it's hard to imagine any actress wanting to wear a gown evenly loosely associated with Harvey Weinstein. As a result, some fashion insiders believe Chapman should start a new brand that has less baggage.
