Jay Z recently told Rap Radar hasn't fully forgiven West for the comments he made at his November concert. During his infamous rant, West slammed Jay Z for not calling him after Kim was robbed in Paris.
But Jay Z said that he was most upset about West dissing his family. During the same rant, West claimed Beyoncé refused to perform at the 2016 Video Music Awards unless she won Video of the Year. A month earlier, West also lamented that his daughter, North, never got to play with Bey and Jay's daughter, Blue Ivy.
"You got hurt, because this guy was talking about you on a stage," Jay-Z said. But what really hurt me, you can't bring my kid or my wife into it. Like, Kanye is my little brother. He's talked about me a hundred times. He even made a song called ‘Big Brother.' We've gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it, now it's a problem."
Jay Z continued, "You know it’s a problem because me and him would have been talked about it, been resolved our issues. And he knows crossed the line. He knows. And I know he knows. ‘Cause we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many. That’s part of who we are."
Jay Z also spoke to Rap Radar about his apparent Kanye West diss on the song "Kill Jay Z." The song includes the lyrics, "I know people backstab you, I feel bad too. But this f--k everybody attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f--k was he thinkin’? / ‘F--k wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane."
But despite these lyrics, Jay Z maintained that "Kill Jay Z" is not a Kanye diss track. "It’s not even about a Kanye diss," Jay Z said to Rap Radar. "It’s not a diss, I’m talking to myself the whole time."
Still, Jay Z and Kanye clearly have some issues to work out. And this feud is showing no signs of ending.
