Will Meghan Markle be engaged in 2017? It certainly looks like it from the adorable photos taken in Toronto on Monday!

For months, royal fans have been waiting for Prince Harry and the brunette beauty to take their romance public. And they finally did at the Invictus Games in Canada on Sept. 25. Looking completely smitten, William's brother and his gorgeous girlfriend giggled, whispered in one another's ears and held hands as they walked.

“I believe an engagement is [on its way],” Myka Meier, the founder and director of Beaumont Etiquette, told People. “I think to show PDA at such a highly publicized public event would be a very conscious decision by Prince Harry, and shows the seriousness of the relationship. Meghan would very much have taken his lead under the circumstances.”

Though Markle hardly looked like a princess in her white button-down and torn jeans, she was as stunning as ever. Harry also went casual sporting an Invictus Games polo, dark denim and gray sneakers. And, of course, they both wore shades.

The first public outing comes on the heels of Prince Harry's visit to the set of her TV show Suits. "The Suits visit was planned a couple of weeks in advance," an insider told E! News. "Harry's never seen her at her workplace before so she was excited to arrange it. No one was expecting him to show up, just a few people knew."

"But it was a quiet visit, he wasn't there posing for photos with 100 people," the source added. "A lot of people didn't even know he was there after word got out."

These are the signs royal fans have been waiting for. Though Harry has remained mum about a proposal, Markle spoke about the relationship in Vanity Fair. "We're two people who are really happy and in love," she said in the magazine's October cover story. "We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception. Nothing about me changed. I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship."
